The laboratory is a place where the strength and quality of concrete is tested. This is important to ensure that the concrete meets the required standards and is safe for use in construction.
Compressive strength test: The most common concrete test. Determines how much load the concrete can withstand before it collapses.
Tensile Strength Test: The test determines how much
the load the concrete can withstand before it cracks.
Modulus of elasticity test: The test determines how stiff the concrete is.
Frost resistance test: The test determines how well concrete withstands freezing and thawing.
Water resistance test: The test determines how well concrete resists the penetration of water.
Tests in the concrete laboratory are carried out on concrete samples that are taken from the concrete mixture or from ready-made concrete products. Concrete samples are kept under controlled conditions until testing. Concrete test results are used to ensure that the concrete meets the required standards.
